Anyone know which transmitter element the leich 901 used?  Is it a WE F1?  Or would it be this guy: http://www.oldphoneworks.com/leich-transmitter-element.html ?

I just need one htat will work well, not necessarily a "correct" part.

All of my Leich 'vented' handsets have F1 transmitter elements.

Thanks, Larry!

I did not know that, but it is certainly useful information to know about my 901.

Best regards!

Excellent!

This appears to be exactly the handset my metal-base 901 has!

How very wonderful, that these utilize readily-available rx / tx capsules! I have to deal with proprietary excrescence on a daily basis, for which no parts / components exist through our !@#$%^&* legislature- mandated supply sources. >:(

This often amounts to changing a fixture, rather than a bulb, switch, contactor, relay, etc.,, and re-engineering, re-wiring, relocating, patching, sanding, painting. Oof.

Interchangeability, and reparable products not only rock, they rule! 8)

Best regards, and THANKS!, for the Good News! ;D

Here's a quick pic of mine:
