Thanks everyone for your comments and corrections. Yes the labels are in a trial phase and are already an aged look from old paper look. After clear coating the old look was lost. I have been looking for a nice looking Samson logo but none were good enough to use. Thanks Sargeguy for the nice #2 Samson pic. Will update as I get the jars looking more authentic and hopefully fitted with D cell batteries in disguise.

Yes the square jar does look best as it has green tint, a seam and looks like older glass.

Howard, I found the square jars locally and those had a glass top that pushes onto the jar. I suppose it is for candy. I added the wooden top to it.
