I have been working on a custom painted payphone for a little while. I finally got all the parts ready and actually got it assembled last night. It is far from finished but it's getting there! I still have to wire it and put the sitckers on. I thought I would share it here.

I didn't do a close up on the paint until Fab pointed it out but I agree, the paint looks clear coated, slick! That flawless dial helps too. Nice job, Harry!

Thanks Guys! Been a long process. This is my first payphone so I am learning as I go. I work at a car dealer and I had the body shop we use do the paint. It is clear coated.

Knowing where you worked, as I used to do the same, I thought that may be what you did, they did a nice job, as usual for those guys!

Your first pay phone is looking really fine so far!

It's been about a year since I finished this custom payphone. Still not sold. I have it listed online in about 5 different places. Even brought it to the show in Maitland last month. I dropped the price 4 times. It is not selling. I was thinking about changing the colors to the Kansas City Chiefs after their Super Bowl win. What do you guys think?

As I posted in the "For Sale" topic I changed my tactic and offered custom payphones painted to your specs using the Dolphins phone as an example. I now have 2 orders for custom phones. One for Arizona Cardinals and one for Harley Davidson. I got the parts back from the painter yesterday. I will be starting on building them out tomorrow. I had a hard time finding a payphone at a reasonable price to use. I will be on the lookout in the future for more to fill the next requests. If you find any please PM me! Starting pictures attached. I will add more pictures as the builds progress.

That was a clever idea.  :D

It will be fun to see what requests you receive, and how the bespoke orders progress through their transformations. Before and after photos please!

Looking forward to seeing the Harley phone in particular.
