Hello. I bought an orange 1973 ITT that I have managed to get all working besides the ringer.
The coil has 4 leads
Red- currently hooked up to L2
Black--LI

Slate--unhooked
slate-red--unhooked

Options--K, G, A, C

I tried to copy a WE500, putting Slate-red on 'A", and SL on "K'', which has the gong lightly vibrating.
There is no little spot to move the tension spring (out of the squares) , it lies below the gong  freely with a little circle piece of metal on it's end. .It isn't an overpowered current because I dissconnected the other phones.

Anyone familair with this? Thanks in advance

If you look at the "Stromberg-Carlson" thread from Greg , the innards of the phone are very similar to this, especiallt the gong and bells. Thanks
