Standard Electric 1954 CB version, didn't know it existed

Snatched this one up this week. I had never seen one with a dial blank, so I had to have it. The seller said in the ad pick up only, but I managed to persuade her to send it to me. It was on the other side of the country, so picking it up wasn't really an option.

30 euro's incl shipping (6,75) isn't expensive. A collector I know, living near the seller already made bid. So I was Lucky to get it.

There were 3 companies making phones for the PTT, Heemaf, Ericsson, and Standard. I have untill now only seen Heemaf and Ericsson telephones made for private networks, never before on made by Standard.

And this one is a CB version too! The dial blank is an origina part. The casing has the regular molded logo of Standard, but the PTT logo is covered up with a metal shield with another Standard logo.

Also no date on the back.

It is in a good Original condition. Even the cloth cord is good, rubbers and all.
