Janet found this at the beginning of the summer in a group of phones. It was covered with paint from an exceptionally sloppy painter. It was my project for today. The base is metal, the mount and handset are bakelite. The handset was really covered with thick spots of paint and the handset was dry.

I got the paint of the metal with goo be gone, noxon and plenty of elbow grease. The handset fine steel wool, goo be gone and noxon. I was happy he way it came out and the bakelite is a smooth deep black soft and shiny. Original cloth cords in wonderful shape. Two intercom subsets for lack of a better term.

Bakelite button on front. The handset is twice as heavy as an E1. Looks like an AE manufacturer for S&P. Love the cradle plate.

This was for sale, but I am no conflicted!!

Is it just me? Can anyone see the pictures?

I see them just fine.  Nice phone and ringer.

OK, maybe it's my work computer. Pictures start to load and then disappear, left with blank box and red X in the corner. Right-click "open picture" produces nothing.
