Is there a 'proper' ringer for a 354 with 101B coil?

N8N,

     Thanks for taking the time to take the photos, and make the observations. You have given me much to think about.

     I had always ASSumed that the bracket was riveted to the backplate, and the lip, and screw held the ringer in. Hmmm.

     Going into Wile E. Coyote mode....(back to the drawing board.) ;)

After looking at *your* pics it seems you should be right!

BUT... the ringer does not want to come out of my phone.

maybe I'll look at it again tomorrow.
