I got this ringer today.  It looks similar to a C4A except that it has two wires instead of four.

Could this ringer be used in a phone that normally uses a four wire ringer?  If so, how?

Black          L1 (formerly G)
Red            L2
Slate-Red   A
Slate          K

C4C:

Black         L1
Red           K
Connect a strap between L2 and A
