Mystery solved:

Hi Simon, your phone is a French Eurielt Type 10, probably from the mid-teens. You should be able to date it as it will have a stamp/impress on it somewhere, like LT 3 13, meaning commissioned in March 1913. I have several in my collection, as they come in both CB and automatic format, and a variety of colours. The base and column are made of ivorine (cellulose nitrate) with the box of wood. You may find versions with other makers plaques on them, but they are just assemblers of the Eurielt design The model below is a 1913 auto.
