Any Ideas? Heavy Metal Mouthpiece Fits a WE. Its heavy and looks like it was nickel-ed but a lot of brass shows, especially on the inside. Kind of dented around rim. Holes seem strange. Home brew?? Worth re-nickeling??,,,Doug

I never seen one like that.
I see the holes are are not even, it is like someone drilled then by hand....
Could it have been cast?

Dont know about that one but there was a WE mine? telephone with a black painted solid brass MP

I have a 1952 Signal Corps 500 that had a replaced fingerwheel. It was made of aluminum, and it was home made. It's pretty interesting looking, definitely not factory, but not really badly done either.

It kind of reminds me of this mouthpiece; has jagged edges and definitely wasn't factory, but fits well and looks like it could have been original.
