Dear Forum:

I have some WE 4293 Networks; 4293A, 4293G,4293F, and 4293P I would like to use to replace a bad 4228 net. in a WE Telstar set with a 9 wire hookswitch and 35 type dial but am unsure how to wire it in.

The set has a separate polarity guard in it; I might replace the dial with a 72 type WE dial, but I please need BSP's on the 4293 networks, and how to wire the 9 lead hook into it, and how to wire the line, ringer and handset in using the 4293 net.,please.

Also, if anyone has the BSP on 4293 networks please , please let me know.

On photo 2, the stamping reads 4293P, 4-84

Thank you,

The 4293 is wired the same as a 4228.

BSP 502-503-101, Issue 10, shows the same diagram in Fig. 10 (pp. 14-15) for either 4228B, 4293G,  or 4293P network used with a 2500DMG equipped with 35-type dial. Fig. 11 shows the same networks used with a 72-type dial. (TCI library)

Thank you, to be honest I didn't know.. I've seen them used with mainly 72 type dials, myself.
