For the early history of this project, see http://www.islandregister.com/phones/demo2.html

What has slowed this project is the fact that UK Linefinders require control circuitry not needed on N.A. linefinders.

Over the past couple of years, John Mulrane has been helping out finding the original specs for the  finders I have, and then designing and building correct relay sets and start circuitry for them.

John is coming very close now; see

https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10203440003746900

Here are the subassemblies John Designed to allow it to do this:

Line Relays and Meters
Fuse and Alarm Panel
Start Relay Set
Control Relay Set...

John trained as an engineer for GPO and is currently testing the switches/circuitry out in Ireland before returning them to the museum.

Cool.

I think 'Light Straw' would be a lovely colour for kitchen units, when I get round to having some.
