I was taking a few pics of this candlestick phone I recently acquired and was having difficulty with bouncing the flash.  Before I post a better pic, does anyone care to guess what is inscribed on the transmitter face?

Alright, here is a picture of the phone in question, it's a Jaynes Electrical Co. from Buffalo New York.  wds is correct in that the phone was apparently made by Couch using some WE components.  This phone is extremely rare apparently.  Whether or not that translates into value is something else entirely.

It's a beauty.  You should display it front and center.

It is the only non-WE phone in the collection! And it's half WE!
