Hi Guys

Just picked this up on a BIN- seemed a reasonable price after looking at others listed/completed over there...
( £239.00 plus £9.95 Express Delivery )
Any thoughts?

What kind of material is that on the base plate?
The idea that a four-year degree is the only path to worthwhile knowledge is insane.

I sold a 151-AL with 634 subset recently for https £225.52.  Mine had 2AB dial and the base was recovered in suede by Dennis H/dencins.  It went for less than I expected it would.

The grain looks, to me, like it is pigskin. Can't tell any more from the pic. Wouldn't care to speculate beyond that. ;)

Nice purchase! Enjoy! 8)
