Is this the old brasso?

Yes, it sure does look like it. I don't read much Spanish but from the ingredient section on the back, I see petrolium products, oleic acid, aluminum silicate and a few others I can't make out. And it comes in a metal can. What a deal and with free shipping.

Somebody found a stash in Mexico, got them over the border and is making a few bucks on them. Would cost me about $7.50 to make 200 ml less the can and shipping, just for comparison. I'm not going to sell this home brew stuff. Just trying to see if I could make it. It would have been cheaper for me to buy one of these by a long shot but what's the fun in that . . .

Seriously, if I hadn't just made mine, I'd try a can of that.

EDIT:  Typed the ingredients portion from the can's back label

"Composicao: agentes de polimento, solvente de petrolio, oleina, silicato de alumino, amonia and fragrancia."

into Google Translate and got this in English

"Composition: polishing agents, petroleum solvent, olein, aluminum silicate, ammonia and fragrance."

so the ingredients are very similar in general and include the important/active components found on the old Brasso MSDS pages.
