What's your price for dial fingerwheels, number card retainer rings, and dial fingerstops?  I have a bunch of these that need the treatment.

Also what's your price for the hand grips on AE 41 sets, and the hookswitch plungers from AE 41s and AE 80s?  I have a few of these that need it as well.

The original finish can be either nickel or paint as long as the parts are brass.

Dial Fingerwheel - $7.50
Number Card Retainer Ring - $2.50
Dial Fingerstop - $2.50

plus return shipping.

I do not know AE telephones so I would need to see a picture of the parts.

Good news is I am now able to plate steel and have done several steel parts lately.  I just finished parts for a Federal wall phone that had a steel transmitter cup and steel hookswitch.

One thing - unlike brass steel rusts and can be heavily pitted which I can only do so much to clean up.

I should update my Pricing List to brass and steel parts.  I can not do pot metal, aluminum or zinc.

Dennis;
This is what a hobby is about. You provide a service to fellow collectors and for you it's a hobby, and a small business, for collectors it's a needed service, and you don't gouge the buyer with inflated prices. Collectors helping collectors at it's finest.
Having used your finished products my hat is off to you Sir.

Thanks Dan.

I have had a lot of fun (and frustration) as well as a great learning experience with electroplating.  I have been able to help out people restoring wood wall phones, AE34's, candlesticks and others that I would normally not see.  I have even done parts for antique fans, model trains and a compressor.

I have felt the difficulty in locating a dependable, affordable plating source for low volume plating has caused some people to avoid pre-dial phones like wood wall phones and candlesticks.  Hopefully I can offer a resource that can be used so more poeple can get involved in this interesting area of phone collection.

And a single-cylinder stationary Diesel engine!

Turnaround was quick and the parts look great! Too good, actually. I'm looking forward to them tarnishing a bit to match the patina of the rest.... ;-)

Dennis,
I have a WE317ah. The bells are non magnetic & look like nickle but there are some areas with brass showing! Is the brass underneath the nickle OR vice-versa?        Thanks, JBRick
