Was at a flea market last weekend, I picked up a 1939 metal 302.  I've been restoring it this past week.  The phone cleaned up nice and works great.

Looks beautiful. Did you paint it?

I have a 3/1939 302 which turned out almost as good, car polish really made the case shine like yours. Though I have very envious of you cloth cord mine was updated in the 50's with vynal curly cord and line.

Hey Ben

Yes I did paint it, I powder coated it.  It had a black rubber cords, I replaced it with the cloth ones.

WesternElectricBen

I noticed the cords. The cloth looks much better than the vynal's.

Where did you get it powder coated? Will this possibly be a daily dialer?

Ben

Yes it will be a daily dialer, I had it powder coated at my work, our maintenance dose powder coating.
