Prices at phone shows are generally better than regular prices.  I should have gotten it, but didn't.   :(

Maybe it was one of Ray's reproduction phones.  But even those I believe are in the $400 range.

Jim Stettler

Is it plastic or painted? The price seems right for a polane painted phone.

You die, you forget it all.

The handset doesn't look like it was seamed, but the picture does distort the closer you try. Lets pray is was Polane...Doug

Doug;
What did you use to enhance that price, the best I get is a black square at the price area?
You are just trying to get us fired up aren't you ! ??? :o 8)

I would have dickered with him to get it down to $225.   :D

Well if it's 226 then forget it.  I was willing to go 225, but no more. ;)

Dennis;
I think Ray gets almost $500 just for the cover parts, nothing inside.

The good news is that the blue 302 is still available.

Bad news is that it is not thermoplastic, but rather a painted metal body and bakelite handset, and the seller needs to get the full $225 in order to recoup his cost.

More good news:  It is a flawless paint job, and was painted by a well known collector that is a highly active and respected TCI member (Not Ray Kotke) who has not yet participated in this group.  He said that many at the show thought for sure it was a thermoplastic version.  He originally had this painted because he figured he may never see a real Mediteranean Blue Thermoplastic 302.  Well he eventually got one, and now this one is for sale.

If anyone is interested, I can put you in touch with this collector.

Bill: Is that the phones owner standing behind the table? Just curious as I know who he is and have purchased several phones from him.
