Building an LED movie poster lightbox

Hi all!

I want to piggy back my question with your discussion on LED's.

I built a movie poster light box with flexible strip LEDs and used the double-sided movie poster for it.  It hangs in the TV room.  I loved it so much that I built three more!  I bought the tiny RF remote and receiver (second picture the white tail coming from the box is the receiver) for each with each box using a separate power supply plugged into outlets.

I still love it except for getting them to all turn on/off at the same time.  Wiring them together is the obvious solution except that it gets expensive quickly.  I am curious to see if anyone on the forum can give me a cheaper alternative.

What has been recommended for the in-line dimming job (total 273 watts and 16 amperes) is to use:

Mean Well LED driver(power supply/transformer)  12V, 265W for 12 volt 360 watts (HLG-320H-12a) @ $110.  (https://www.flexfireleds.com/search.php?search_query=HLG-320H-12a&Search=SEARCH )

Multizone Single color remote/ with 2 receivers  ($307)  Two receivers because we are using about 16 amps.  https://www.flexfireleds.com/multi-zone-single-color-remote-and-receiver-combo/

Does that seem awfully high priced?  I don't need "the best in the business."  It's just for our little movie room!  If I could get the price down to one third on the rest of the products, I would be happy.

I would also consider doing more electrical work and have the dimming on the ac side.  That way I could have a switch that would fade on and off.  Now THAT would be cool!  (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000JJYJMM/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=KFRA8V55BQH1&coliid=I3RRFJUM4JQCXO&psc=1

But it might need to be an LED dimmer like: https://www.amazon.com/Lutron-DVWCL-153PH-WH-Dimmable-Dimmer-Wallplate/dp/B004C2WTLU/ref=sr_1_2?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1479760297&sr=1-2&keywords=lutron+diva+led+dimmer).    HD carries the single pole Lutron for $40.  I'm not sure if you have to have a three pole switch.  For ac dimming I would also need a magnetic led driver like the Zurich, also, expensive.

Dimming on the ac side would probably be more expensive and I would be working with 110v.  If I went this route, I would just need more direction and product advice.

Love to have your input!
