Got another dial pad, hooked it up and it WORKS!!!!!!! However, now the ringer doesnt work, what colors mare the ringer wires and where should they be connted? Thanks

when i put the red to l2 it wont ring and i cant hang up

Also, if I remove the red wire from L2 you can't hear my voice if i call someone, once I put the red back on to L2 you can hear me.

The ringer should be connected just like the photo in Reply #2....I'm not sure but maybe you moved the wrong red wire? (Yes, there are 4 red wires: red incoming line, red handset, red ringer, and red dial.)

The red handset wire and the red dial wire should be together on X. If the red handset wire is not connected, then you can't be heard.

The red ringer wire and incoming red line wire should be on L2.

What do you have connected to A and K?

The diagram that I had previously attached, shows where each wire goes.

I noted that instead of the default wiring showing the ringer's black lead connected to yellow should not be followed; instead it should be moved to L-1.
