Utica, Michigan.  It's about 12 miles north of Detroit.

Ooooh, Utica.  Home of the Packard proving grounds (or what's left of them).  I've always wanted to go there.

Bingster, there isn't much left there now.  There is a restaurant located on the property called The Packard Grill.  I have never been there and I live a half mile or less away.  There are Packard cars out front.  In the summer there is always some kind of car related thing going on there.

I used to fly over the property ten years or so and one could still see Ford's oval track.  Just homes there now.  I haven't lived in this particular area very long so I don't know a lot of the Packard history.

Utica!  Wow, haven't thought about that place in a long time. Back in the summer of 1980 my cousin and I were fierce contenders for the affection of a girl from Utica we met at an RV camp in Durango, Colorado.  Not sure who won.   ::)

nice decor in the packard grill.   crappy service & food, unless they have improved in the last couple years. :(
