Title: Pennsylvania Telephone Company Diecut sign , Independent
Post by: rfkimba on November 02, 2019, 02:47:38 AM
I was excited to acquire this sign of another independent phone company on Ebay in October. I love the sloppy porcelain on the reverse with matching sets of
fingerprints.  Definite porcelain ledging but not as thick as signs from 1900 to 1920s.
The company is still in operation today as there is  a company with the  same name that its website says its been in business for 100+ years and services 60 sq miles of Pa territory.
Can anyone add any information on this sign such as its estimated manufacture date?

$756 says you didn't just want it, you wanted it BAD!  Congratulations on the new sign. It is nice, but way out of my league.
