Dear Forum:

I've installed the first polarity guard in a NE2702 set; attached are the photos of how it was done.

Photo 1 shows the white polarity guard lead connected to "C" on the network.  Photo 2 shows the green polarity guard lead on "RR" of network,  Photo 3 shows the slate-black hook lead on "S" of the polarity guard,  and the black dial lead on "T" of the polarity guard.

The last photo shows the taped polarity guard in between the dial brackets; trimmed to fit under the dial.

The set functioned nicely with it installed.

The polarity guard installation for a WE 2702B/BM is similar and will fit in the same area between the dial brackets.  The primary wiring difference being the brown hook from C  will go to the screw associated with the white guard lead,  and the white hook lead will go to the screw associated with the green guard lead,  which will go to F.

The guard used is a 1990's AT&T polarity guard.
