Showing the "operating room" of CNRO radio station circa 1926,.

At the time CNRO was still in the Jackson Building at the corner of Bank and Slater. The 200-foot antenna was on the roof.

CNRO was originally operated by Canadian National Railway with a massive power of ... 500 watts!
The station later moved to the Chateau Laurier and represents, more or less, the origin of all CBC operations in the capital.
