One of the"Schmoo" early Trimline field trial prototypes just sold on eBay for $455.

I would say that someone got a deal. Odd point, mine is stamped "non working",  don't see that on this one.

This one did have some damage--cracking at the earpiece area and a damaged handset cord.

FYI, it's spelled Shmoo and the name comes from Li'l Abner, a cartoon in the Sunday newspaper comics section by Al Capp for many years. Here is a picture of the Shmoo and you can see the shape is similar.

Yes that seems like a VERY GOOD price to me....amazing! I fixed the spelling in the subject line.

I don't know who the buyer is OR what his handle is even. He also bought that dark blue 500 that was on ebaY earlier this month. I'll try to figure out who he is.

I noticed this one is also missing the inside ringer box.  It's Gonna be almost impossible to find one of them.
