WE/NE B1A bell specs

is it just me, or are the mounting holes on the B1A bells different between WE and NE specs. I bought 2 410 bases and the bells I have don't match up with the mounting holes on the bases.... Does anyone know any more about this??

The ringers have different hole spacing .I think some had elongated holes to work on either set. Use a file to make them fit.

yup, that's what I'm going to have to do.... why the specs were different doesn't make any sense.... the "Bell System" was the bell system. so, all the specs should have matched even across borders! crazy engineers!
