I may eventually buy his controller. He responded back. The only problem with using his controller with a single slot is that the controller has no way of knowing what coin or how many are deposited.  Which really isn't bad for me, the phone is in my house. Put in a coin, make a call. And to modify a single slot to work with his controller it only requires 1 jumper wire.

Did Stan actually send you a copy of his single slot instructions? I'd love to see it so I will be better informed when someone else asks. However, I think I was pretty well correct on what it could do and couldn't do - just like to know more.

Just emailed it to you
Hi - actually Stan also sent me a copy, and I have the manual and ordering information on:

http://www.classicrotaryphones.com/forum/index.php?topic=8522.0

Now. That includes a PDF version of his manual with his permission, so people will have the information to decide whether it is worth it to them to order....
