Part numbers for wooden back plates?

Anybody know what the part numbers are for wooden back plates?  For example, I only recently learned that the part number for a WE subset is "154A", but only because it was engraved on it.  I checked an apt. phone I have that has one, but no part number.  I could use one or two for a couple of WE hotel phones and other subsets.
The idea that a four-year degree is the only path to worthwhile knowledge is insane.

I have a 147A backboard for one of my 534 subsets and 172D for a 354 wall phone.

I've got a wall phone backboard incised "172B."  I wonder what the difference between a B and a D is. FWIW mine was once moss green, but the face and edges have been painted black.

I think the 172B is for a 554 but I'm not sure.

There are a bunch of backboard model numbers shown in this index document on page 13:

  http://www.telephonecollectors.info/index.php?option=com_docman&task=doc_details&gid=311&Itemid=2

It references 463-130-100, which can be found in volume 1 of the Key Systems Service Manual Handbook (coded KA in the index).  There were several issues of the handbook published during the 1970s.

They were perfect bound, so a problem to scan.  If anyone has a scanned copy, please post it and submit it to the library.  Thanks.

Maybe a color code?
What color is yours, sarge?

The 172 will work with both the 354 and 554, which is pretty handy.
