What part are you always in need of??

For me, it is hands down a Candlestick receiver. It seems most sticks I find either have the wrong receiver or no receiver at all. On my lesser sticks and wall mounts I am always robbing Peter to pay Paul. I never touch a receiver that came on a stick and is correct, but it seems I always am moving around the more common ones. Then I get a good one and I sell it  :-[ .

WE Dials run a close second, but stick receivers are the top of the list. What part are you always in need of??....Doug

For me, that would be either a line cord or a way to plug it in to a modular jack.  Yes, I have used a surface mount jack on the end of a line cord for this purpose.  I also have one with a connecting block and a short pigtail on the end of its line cord.  I'm always looking for those modular plugs that you put on the end of a cord with a screwdriver.  I've been able to find some online.

The Pony Receiver for my WE 317 wall phone eluded me for 8 years. I finally found a basket case and restored it. I could not be happier.
WELL, a NOS pony receiver would at least generate a smile.

Matilo Telephones

In general:

cords, cords, cords, Original old ones.
Rubber feet. I can find replacements, but they are often of a different model. They fit, but are not perfect.
Dial cards, Original ones without writing on them.
Nickel plated Ericsson and Siemens dials, old style Ericsson handsets, Siemens hardened rubber receiver caps and bowl shaped transmitter caps.

Can you post a link please? I have been looking for those, but could not find them. Perhaps I am using the wrong words in my searches.

Do what I did. have you doctor put you on the waiting list to have your brain transplanted into a 19 year old body.

Where would the 19-year-old's brain go? ;D
