This paint job looks terrible. That or this phone has been oiled down (and painted also) to give it that nice Muscle Beach shinny toned body look....Ugh... If this is yours or someone you know, just one fellas opinion. You'll have to deal with it ;) :P

What this really reminds me of is what one or more coats of Future Floor Wax looks like when applied to a relatively smooth but imperfect surface with a cotton rag.

It is metal, seems so by dates and photos, so it could be refinished, but not for that price.

Looks to me like it was just a normally worn metal phone that they cleaned and applied a shiny coat of wax or something.  Overdone, overpriced.
The idea that a four-year degree is the only path to worthwhile knowledge is insane.
