It's a Viaduct candlestick, or what's left of it. I will start out with my guess of $5,800.00

I put together a photo that I have posted below. I could have sworn something was stamped there, but I couldn't quite make it out. A fellow collector ID'd it for me.

Geez Terry, if this would really have been MY sale, I could have went on a cruise too! ;-)

But alas, I am sitting here at McDonalds, eating a $1.00 cheeseburger :-(

Now I'm bummed. I was asked by a "very" interested party what I thought that stick would go for, and what he should bid on it. I told him to snipe at $8500 if he really wanted it. Alas, he didn't take my advice and sniped lower and subsequently lost it.  Bummer; thought I was going to get to restore it :-(

Looking through the contests, I noticed this stick and I recently came across an article saying the Viaduct No 14 was the 5th rarest of the 50 rarest candlesticks.

The eBay listing (only one photo left at the auction line) seems to have been a No. 14 Viaduct deskset. The eBay photo is on the right.
