Got this 354 for $25 on eBay.

It works internally (one exception - see my next post in the General section), bell is fine, dial is a little sluggish, but does dial correctly.

The downside is that the exterior has shrunk/warped (see pictures).  Any ideas to resurrect the case, or do I have a new parts phone?  I can use several of the parts in 2 other 354s I have (one is a manual and the other doesn't have a working bell, but I'm looking for a March 1954 bell to keep that one all 3/54 parts (which I chuckle at, since that's the model number...).

I'm willing to play with it - otherwise it's a good parts phone.

Thanks,
Jim
A phone phanatic since I was less than 2 (thanks to Fisher Price); collector since a teenager; now able to afford to play!
Favorite Phone: Western Electric Trimline - it just feels right holding it up to my face!

You could probably use a hair dryer to soften the case, and then stretch it over the base into place. I haven't done it before, but it might be worth a try.
