Just guessing, not based on real measuring.
If needed the F1 or an Antwerp transmitter may fit. You may have to adjust the contact springs.

The receiver are more like the typical German ones.

The resistor would still be worth to try, just put it wire terminals for the transmitter cord.

So OKI made the phone, but Toshiba made the handset?  Any idea what the relationship was between Toshiba and OKI?

These were all built to the same standards by many mfg companies.They might have molded it for another company.It might have been replaced also.I have seen AE handsets with the GE logo molded inside for a US example
