Does anyone know "X-10"??

OK, I thought I'd throw this one out to you all.... does anyone know about or have experience with "Home Automation"? Specifically, the X-10 wireless system.. since we have engineers online here, I'm curious if anyone like to be a couch potato when it comes to turning things on and off... I have the X-10 system in my house and I love it.... that is, when it works.... anyway who online here know anything about the X-10 system and how the PLC system works???
