Title: SC Fatboy White or Ivory
Post by: Doug Rose on October 07, 2013, 07:59:20 AM
I was on the fence and let it slip away. This sure looks like a white of Ivory soft plastic fatboy. I thought it would go much higher. It just doesn't look painted...Doug

I missed that one, but on close look, it does appear to be painted.  There seems to be some black peeking out on some spots on the handset and the edge of the cradle ear.  Also, look at the space between the cradle and the shell.  There seems to be paint between them.

I was under the impression they original released fatboys in painted colors?  Am I wrong?

It looks painted, but at the same time it appears to be an excellent paint job.  Very few chips in the paint despite the wear and tear.  I also missed this auction.

$50 is not a bad price for any Fatboy in good condition.

Several of the refurb companies used to sell painted fat boys.
