Just got this in from e-bay today. Looks all original and complete. The nickel parts need to be re-plated and the rest restored. I will try and find a nice subset to hook it to or maybe a mini network (last choice)

Let me know what you think.

I saw that a couple of days ago. Looks pretty good, should clean up well. Don't forget to post pictures after you shine it up ;D

Here is a picture from the auction for posterity after it is pulled by eBay.

Very nice.  I like the brass mouthpiece.

You might want to check out Kellogg General Catalog #7 from 1926. It can be downloaded at KelloggMike's site:

http://www.strombergcarlsontelephone.com/kellogg/kellogg_main.htm

(Scroll down under Catalogs until you see the 1926 catalog.)

There are two versions of the non-dial Grabaphone:
F-115 for Local Battery (F-115 desk stand + F-11-L.C. Grabaphone [handset]
F-115A for Common Battery (F-115A desk stand + F-11C handset)

The F-115 was used with a magneto subset such as F-9G or F-16G
The F-115A could be used with any of the following "desk set boxes:"

F-75SA "Flat type" [steel]
F-259A "Deep Front Type" [steel]
F-408SA "Oak Type"
F-600SA "Enclosed Gong Type" [steel]

Since the induction coil and condenser are in the desk set box, a 3-conductor cord is needed between the Grabaphone and the desk set box.

I finally have the grab-a-phone restored, with the help of Dennis Hallworth that did a fantastic job on replating the nickel parts, I decided to paint the spit cup black. I also installed a mini network .

Thanks again Dennis!

Incredible before and after! Kudos to both yourself, and Dennis!
