I really should not complain. What I have is really a very good compromise to a "49-500". I won't push my fabulous luck. I paid $225.00 If I recall.

There's a Birthday Phone thread in the Classifieds forum: http://www.classicrotaryphones.com/forum/index.php?board=27.0.  But yes, I would be willing to pay a little extra for my bd phone.
