I just scored one of my least favorite phone models in one of my most favorite colors.  It reminds me of a 1956 Lincoln shade called "Wisteria".  I've always wanted a 500 in this color but this will do just fine!  The auction ended at 2 o'clock in the morning which probably helped to keep the final price low.  I hope the color of the handset cord doesn't look as off in person.  Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! ;D

finlover,

It looks like you got a great deal on a rare color.  I imagine that the matching car might go for a bit more :).

Considering the free shipping, you did well on your purchase.  The color match is very close (Lincoln & phone).....and it's brand new.

Lucky dog.  I saw that Trimline some time back but forgot about it figuring it would end up going for a zillion bucks.

I hadn't noticed the free shipping part.  That was a real bargain.  The seller was probably expecting much more.

Can't beat that!  Wild color, too.  I think Olds had a similar color called "heather."

That is a good find. I too hate the trimlines (they fall out of your shoulder), but the color is awesome. Ebay on Christmas and Thanksgiving is a good day to find nice stuff since not many people are online bidding at the time.

-Wait, just realized this is touch tone. Also, Happy Thanksgiving!  ;D

That's way cool!!  I wonder if I could get a belt clip for it?

I've split this topic, and the car discussion portion can now be found in the off-topic forum.
