Update posted in another forum by Wayne Merritt.  Any questions should be directed to him.

The Lyons antique telephone show on May 1st is coming together again like it
did 2 years ago.  Collectors are signing up as are visitors who want to see
this cold war relic.  If you are planning to attend, now is a good time to
let me know.  We have many tables requested (they are free) so far, and have
room for a lot more.

There is a social time Friday evening, April 30th at the site.  Pizza and
adult beverages will be available.  Tours are available Friday evening and
Saturday after 10.  (We don't want tours to interfere with the
'buying/selling' frenzy.)

A new feature of the show this year is our USPS Priority Mail table.  We
will have flat rate priority mail boxes available along with some packing
materials so items you buy at the show can be easily shipped.  We have
computer access to USPS, so we can make labels right there.  The cost is the
price of postage + $1.00 for the tape/peanuts/bubble wrap you use.

This is likely the last show we will do at Lyons.  Don't miss this
opportunity to see this historical site.

Details are at:  www.lyonsshow.com

Anyone going to the Lyons show? Hopefully someone will take some pictures.

I will dial into Lyons through CNET and will try to make a video link between my place and Lyons.

Hi Remco,

I did set aside my camera to bring to Lyon's, However, I left it sitting when I left.
Sorry about that.
I am on my way to lyon's, I am currently in Kearny, NE, I saw over 40 telephones today during my wanderings.
The only one I bought was a black 1958 500 set for $15.00. It has a polane coated Rose beige housing. I would take a photo if I had remembered the camera.

I saw about 10 wood phones from $150 negotiable- $650 Firm. All were pretty common.
I saw 2 of the Round ball SC candlesticks. One was $150 compleate and original in pretty good condition, The 2nd was in the same mall w/ an AE bulldog transmitter, no cords and a bit rougher $285.00.

500's from $6.85- $59.00 but most seemed 35-40. 4-5 leich magneto convertables most @ $50.00 1 @ $40.

2 diffeerent Ae space savers @ $125.00
Really rough KE 900? the really deco one, this was black and very rough $195.00 firm.

An interesting dial leich convertable w/ a couple of extra buttons. One of the buttons seemed to be a "hold" that controlled the swhk.  $90.00

Asst novelty phones including a rotary Mickey @ $225.00.
Designline type stuff seemed to be $40-50
Regular novelty stuff was more like $30 and some up to $40

Just some phones and Prices i saw today. These were all along I -80. I saw about 40 from Marker 102- Kearny.

Hello Jim,

I enjoyed "meeting" you at the show. You had some interesting transparent phones at your table. I also like the Leich, I have a soft spot for those kind of phones that you can use as both table or wall telephone. I have a few of them in my collection like the German W49 and the Norwegian type 1953 which you might know as the "Oslo" phone.

I wonder if there are any other models?

At Lyons I talked with "mike" for quite awhile, he liked my clear stuff. I finally asked his last name and it was Sandman.
http://sandman.com/

Sandman has a lot of cool items on the site and some historical referance material as well. Mike doesn't usually attend shows but he came to this one because of the site.

I asked him about why they don't do web orders and he sid it had to do with the oddball stuff they sell. His phone ordering system does work very nicely. They cross referance your callwer Id with your addresss and you just need to verify your in fo.
He sells some good telephone cleaners.

BTW I really liked seeing your "switchroom"
