1906 Summerside Fire Aftermath!

While looking for my other Harold Watkins photo, I found this photo, taken in 1906 after fire swept through the downtown area of Summerside, PEI., burning up much of the town core. The reason I am posting this, is it shows what remained of the open wire infrastructure of the time (at least what remained following the fire)!

Open wire to the right, power to the left of the street. Holman bldg. and water tower to the right in the background, a major Summerside business at the time.
