western electric 302 wiring problem

hello people can you help ive got a ivory 302 western electric telephone and im having trouble fixing
the wiring.it has a six wire plunger switch a four wire bell system a 101b induction coil. ive seen the 
wiring diagrams on this site but have had no luck.would it be possible for someone to put photos
of there phones showing the wiring so i could copy it cheers colin

Your set is a 304, not a 302. However, you don't want to use the factory wiring for a 304. Instead, wire it as in the diagram and it will be equivalent to a 302.

I couldn't find a photo, but here is another way to wire it that should work; just add the green hook switch wire to GN.

You can also wire it as a 304. The circuit is the same, just through a different path. the difference is the that the I tend to wire may 304s as a 304 circuit because it uses all the wires up and I have no taped wires hanging around. They will work the same as a 302.

I actually have more 304/354 than 302/352s.

hello again people thanks for the info got the phone working but when the bell rang
it was struggling not has good has my 302 and now the bell system has stopped working
any ideas cheers colin

Try adjusting the bias spring which is the wire in the center of the ringer.  The end can be moved to a different slot.
