Title: Optical illusion or heat damaged red shell?
Post by: TelePlay on February 26, 2012, 10:37:40 PM
Seller make no statement about the lower right corner of this red 500. Price is a reasonable BIN, or is it?

Bad lighting or a bad shell?

I think that what you are seeing is just a reflection.  I wouldn't pay $35 for a modular phone with a rusty base and a mismatched handset cord.  With a bit a patience, you should be able to do better.

No, you're right. I am not interested in that phone at that price in that condition. I stay away from anything 500 modular anyway. It just seemed having 2 pictures at slightly different angles showing the same anomaly made me curious. I'd think the seller would have retaken the pictures to eliminate that shadow before listing the item to remove this doubt. Just more overpriced junk on eBay, and quite a bit of it lately.
