I bake heavy, with lots of butter and lard, so this one is better for me. Seriously, it does look all original, with nice cords ;)

Yum!  "Bakerlite"!  It does sound tasty and healthy, doesn't it, Dan? ;)

Steve; in the description the seller writes that the cord is "partially covered with heavy curly plastic".  What is "bx" sheathing?  Is that plastic or metal?

Whatever the case (and the amusing spelling) it could be a nice phone. :)

Those plastic cord covers were aftermarket accessories that were sold to keep cloth cords from getting kinked.

definitely not a BX cable, it should be made of metal
