What's an F3 w/button handset?

The link to Paul's website is a good one.  To sum it up, it was a push to talk button so that if you were in a very noisy environment, you did not have to hear the noise in the room you were talking from. 

In radiotelephone applications, it was sometimes used to "key up" the transmitter.

The phone is an AE40, so the handset is incorrect for it.  The price is too high also, especially since the rubber is missing from the base.

With a badly stretched handset cord to boot.  I wasn't interested anyway, just curious about the handset.

I looked in the Tenproject Database, CYpress is not listed.  Most of the ones starting with "C" were in Texas.
