Hey Guys

This is my latest Addition- its from 1982 and the chassis at least is made by Western Electric and was Bell System Property- possibly making it one of the last Bell System versions?

The plastics appear to be new/mint- im well impressed with it pics will follow ASAP.....

The clarity of the plastics on that one is really amazing.  Good find!

Here is the photo.

It looks like the handset and housing are unmarked ITT/Cortelco. It probably had square foam  in the handset vs a cotton ball.
The plastic are very clear and I think they are probably UV stable.

I try to not pay more than $30-40 delivered for these phones, I buy them for the plastics and G handsets.
I always need clear handsets.

The cord is the "proper" transparent cord for a WE "transparent" of that vintage

My first clear phone was a WE 2500 that I put clear unmarked housings on.

I would change the TT plastic to a smooth clear faceplate. It should have a # card holder on it .

Great find

Late model Western Electric phones had a foam slab instead of a cotton ball in the handset.  I just bought a G6 WE handset made in April of 1986 with one.  The G6 was new in the box and dated April 1, 1986, probably about the very last of Western Electric's production in the USA.
