The recent rediscovery of my old tool prompted me to revisit this thread and post a picture of my 3 official fingerwheel removal tools.
Well I guess 2 official and 1 most often used in the field.

Available at Phone Tech Supply Co .

Never met a phone I didn't like !

If you have one of these stores around, these come in handy for many different uses and should provide a probe for the fingerwheels as well.

Perhaps a dial spudger would be of assistance?

I don't have pics of mine (yet) on this newly hatched, replacement PC, >:( but I am sure there are pics on the forum, as well as helpful individuals who will provide some more...

Best regards!

Scroll down about 3/4 of the page to find them in colors. Here's the yellow one.

I always thought it would be nice if they sold boxes of the plastic rods they make spudgers from, like boxes of pencils so one could make them as the tips wear and break away.  When I was in school at Ft. Gordon, they would re-form the ends with a file and a pencil sharpener.

That tool looks too nice to be available in the states.   :D
