I've always limited myself to 20 phones. I've drifted over my limit a few times but I've always sold about as much as I bought. Here's a current 'snap-shot'.

Photo #1
My latest adventure. It's a 51AL with a 2AX (over B) dial and a 534A subset.

Photo #2
Top row: 51AL (4H dial) with a 684A subset, 20AL
Bottom row: 302, 20AL with a NE 684BX subset

Photo #3
Top row: 305, 306 and 307
Middle row: 500 and a couple of 302's
Bottom row: A couple of 5302's and a 5304

I swapped something for the NE 684BX. The guy I got it from said it had a discolored green NE case on it. I made him throw in a WE case. I've never seen a NE 684 case but I'm curious about the green color. I should have had him send me a picture.

I do have another NE 684BX but there is no case. I don't think I've even tested it. It came in a batch of miscellaneous stuff. PM me if you are interested.

I really like that first example.  Not overdone or glossy, but in good condition, looking like it would when it was in common service.  I'm close to getting my stick like that, just need to repaint the subset.
The idea that a four-year degree is the only path to worthwhile knowledge is insane.

Very nice, I love your candlestick and subset!

My parents said I could have "no more than 20," and now I have 110 more phones...
