I'd say that the Toshiba resembles the AE Starlite (which is AE's version of the Princess) a little more than the Princess.

Sorry these pictures aren't gray as I don't think there ever was a gra yStarlite. Just posting pics for comparison to the Toshiba phone above.

Here's an Ericovox speakerphone.  Interesting in that it doesn't have a handset.

Full of questions - Isn't that made to be used with the "Cobra" phone? How does it work? What are the three push-buttons for?

Doug,

It's a stand alone speakerphone.  The buttons on top are for on/off, volume (2 choices) and mute.  There's one with a different number plate here:

A Touchtone A1 isn't it?

Here's my gray NEC type 4, which was new old stock U.S. government surplus but is branded "Star Phone" for some reason.

The design reminds me of a late '40s Buick or Packard--I love it!!

Wallphone

That is one sharp looking phone. Do you have any pics of under the hood?
I see one show up on eBay once in awhile but the price is always too high for me.
To think that there could be a government warehouse full of these some where.
Where did you find yours?

Thanks, Dougpav!  I found mine on--you guessed it--ebay!!   Because this is an interoffice phone without a dial or a ringer it's pretty "gutless".  There's a trough for batteries but I'm not sure what they would have powered.

And now for something totally different...

This is a Dataphone keyset with card reader.

There's some background along with photos of other gray Dataphone devices and a gray rotary keyset card dialer here:
