Title: Unusual 300 Series Phone
Post by: drnedflanders on April 01, 2012, 01:00:24 PM
Hi,
I hope this is the right forum to post this in. I have just acquired an unusual telephone and I wondered if anyone can tell me more about it. It appears to be based on a GPO 300 series but it greatly extended with an array of additional buttons. Is it rare? Can it still be converted run on the normal BT network.
Any information would be welcomed.

This looks like the telephone version of the stretch limousine.

I think that's a Hotel phone, dunno how it works or how to modify it though, but I do believe they're not as common as their smaller counterparts... :)

The Q diagrams for the system are listed (but not available) here

Sometimes referred to a a "crocodile phone", I quite fancy one but wouldn't know where to put it!

I would put it next to my two HES4 for comparison.
