Good decision. Put cloth cords on it, it's easy just swap connection for connection. You be very happy you kept it. It is a beauty!!....Doug

SWEET PHONE!!!!  They are easy to work on, just ask all the questions you need here. I didn't have a clue where to start and everyone here was patient with my confusion. I got most of my parts from Phoneco and some on ebay and am thrilled with the outcome. Besides cords, most of my parts were cosmetic upgrades.  They made phones to last then so I might be surprised if you need to buy anything electronic.

I agree....the Norths are really easy to get working. If you can work on a 302, a North Galion is the next step. many of the same parts. I just built three from newly acquired pieces of phone this morning. The middle one is a Signal corps that looked really battered. I just love the North Galions...Doug
